What to Expect
Red Pines is a water-access-only property, surrounded by private and “forever wild” land. There is no road to this secluded getaway! We will meet you at “The Landing” on Upper St Regis Carry Road (where you will park your car) and you will experience your first relaxing St. Regis Lakes cruise as we motor one mile up the lake.
You will have three cabins reserved exclusively for your use: The Baker’s Cabin, Far Side, and Owl’s Nest, as well as a large Adirondack lean-to for relaxing or for kids to hang out. The front dock is your domain for swimming, sunning, and maybe fishing, and we have canoes and sailboats available for your use. Bedroom cabins all include bed & bath linens, plus extra swim towels. Our WiFi is good, but occasionally subject to bad weather or the whims of the provider. Bring your streaming service passwords, there’s no TV out here.
Boating and Transportation:
We provide pick up and drop off to the Landing for your arrival and departure. You are also welcome to bring your own boat. NY State requires licenses* for powerboat drivers. Life jackets must be worn by all passengers under 12 in all boats (power boats, canoes, and sailboats). Standard orange neck-style PFDs provided. Personal Water Craft are NOT PERMITTED in the town of Brighton, which includes the St Regis Lakes.
Rent a boat and have it delivered to Upper St Regis
Camp Red Pines has been in our family for four generations (going on 5 now!) and some family members live here year-round in the four other family cabins on the 13 acre property. There is generally someone available to answer any questions or help you out with boats or local recommendations.
